CHINA''s Chiwan port in Guangdong province handled 481,000 TEU in July, up 41.4 per cent over the same month last year, Xinhua reports.

In the first seven months of the year, the port area's cargo volume totalled 2.87 million TEU, an increase of 23.6 per cent over the same period in 2005.
